Vocabulary PD Live Stream

Words are a really big deal!! Research shows that there is a high correlation between vocabulary and comprehension.

3 hours of sharing lots of low prep, high yield strategies for increasing word awareness in your classroom. 

Once students know what words say we must then develop readers to help them learn what words mean. 

Come to this PD and be ready to walk away with bite size, actionable knowledge to implement in your instruction--virtual and physical--right away! You will leave this PD armed with new ways to help your students access the meaning of words and phrases in context. They will be able to express themselves orally and in writing with descriptive and precise language as well as increase their reading comprehension.

Handouts and the Zoom code will be emailed to attendees the night before the event.
